Spicy, Fortifying Fall Soup
This delicately flavored, pureed soup, is a soothing 3-4 tablespoons green onions, or leeks, chopped
blend of veggies and miso, with unusual flavors 2 tablespoons Spectrum walnut oil
from a Moroccan seasoning to warm your body. The 1 tablespoon South River Azuki Bean Miso
gorgeous yellow color lifts the spirits, like dipping 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
into thick sunlight on a cold day. 1/2 teaspoon fennel
1 & 1/2 teaspoon India Spice brand Ras El Hanout,
Ingredients: serves 2-4 Classic Blend (a mix of allspice, black pepper, mace,
2 & 1/4 cups pure water nutmeg, cardamom, gingerroot, cinnamon, turmeric,
1 & 1/4 cups carrots, chopped dried rosebuds, and clove)
3/4 cup zucchini, chopped 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/2 cup celery, chopped 1 small clove garlic, pressed, optional
