Grateful thanks I give,

for the beauty of the Fall,
reflections in the lake,

grasses that sway in the breezes,
bounty from the land,

and lingering warmth from the sun.
My heart radiates deepest thanks to Nature

that gives to us so selflessly,
so that our bodies and souls will thrive.

In America, Thanksgiving marks the onset of the holiday season and the
welcoming of friends and family into our homes for a real celebration
and feast. This is a holiday that embraces all people, no matter what one’s

religion or creed. It’s our time to gather together to share gratitude for the
bounty, to give thanks for all that is good, and for the love that touches us
and fills our lives.
