Patties Nouveau
with Tamarind Sauce
Here’s a bread-like patty made from sprouted 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt, or, 2 tablespoons
buckwheat that’s delicious with a Tamarind Dressing. Coconut Aminos
The patties in combination with the sauce have the 2 tablespoons Spectrum walnut oil
best taste. Buckwheat isn’t a grain, but a seed, and has 1 & 1/2 teaspoons garam masala
no gluten. The patties are made in the dehydrator. 1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 teaspoon bay leaf powder
Ingredients: Makes 24, 2 inch patties 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 & 1/2 cups sprouted buckwheat, directions follow A tiny shake of cayenne
1 cup pumpkin seeds, soaked
3/4 cup carrots, chopped Directions
1/2 cup celery, chopped Start by soaking 1/2 to 2/3 cup dry buckwheat groats
1/4 cup leeks, chopped in 4 cups of water for 30-60 minutes. Drain through
1/4 cup parsley, loosely chopped a strainer (this works the best!) and rinse really well
3 tablespoons walnuts, chopped with cool water.
